Alisha Coleman, RN

Alisha Coleman, RN earned her degree and Associates in Applied Science from PVCC in 2008 and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from UVA in 2014. Alisha started her nursing career at Martha Jefferson in Telemetry then developed an interest to do Home Health Care. Desiring to go back to school, she transferred to UVA and worked for 5 years in Pain Management doing procedures. After leaving Pain Management, she was part of establishing the UVA Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehab clinic at the battle building earning a certification in Rehabilitation Nursing.  As a nurse she also has experience in Urology and Orthopedics. Originally from Michigan, Alisha moved to VA at the age of 8 in 1991. She married her husband David (born and raised in Charlottesville, VA) in October 2016 and they enjoy raising their 3 children; Josephine, age 9, and 15 month old twins Cecelia and Sawyer here in VA. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, exercising and doing activities that allow her to grow in her faith.
